Listen, if you’re going to follow Christ, you’re not only going to have to make a break with secular culture, you’re going to have to make a break with contemporary Christianity. And you’re not just going to have to make a break with contemporary Christianity, you’re going to have to make a break from even evangelicalism. Because the term ‘evangelical’ means nothing nowadays. I’m not trying to be a rebel; I’m just saying that we have to get back into the Word of God, and realise that all the things we swallow are not what are to be swallowed.
